Service Statement
I contributed my research expertise by serving as a voluntary proposal reviewer and presentation facilitator for the 2023 AECT conference. Furthermore, I have actively participated as an ad-hoc reviewer for the journal of Virtual Reality, Journal of Applied Instructional Design, and IGI Global, where I reviewed submissions and provided constructive feedback to enhance the quality of academic publications.
I also worked as the Vice President for Professional Development for PALDT (Purdue Association of Learning Design and Technology), for which I arranged and oversaw professional development opportunities, organized workshops, seminars, and research presentations, and provided LDT students with information about additional academic and extracurricular experiences.
I volunteered as a moderator for the Meet & Greet session at the Big Ten+ Grad Expo in 2021. Additionally, I participated in the first Virtual Exchange program between Purdue University, Nagasaki University, and Kyoai Gakuen University. I also volunteered as a host family for the Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship (BFTF) in 2024, hosting a fellow from Spain for nine days. I worked as volunteer in AECT 2023 School Reception Event.
